Shawn Keith has spent his entire professional career (or some would say, wasted it), focused on marketing, interactive, and technology.

He was fortunate to begin working with technology in college and transferred that knowledge to an advertising / marketing career and finally, directing interactive marketing strategies for some of the largest and influential technology, financial services and media companies. He has a wide background in communications management, including interactive, advertising, brand development and positioning, direct marketing, and product marketing. As a resutlt, he is able to synthesize business, marketing and technical goals into actionable strategic plans and processes.

He is currently Senior Manager of Web Strategy at Sage North America, part of Sage Group, plc., a leading developer of business management software and services to 5.7 million customers worldwide. He directs enterprise-wide strategic initiatives for the company’s range of business-to-business product and corporate websites.

Starting in 1997, Shawn Keith spent ten years building and leading the strategic initiatives for Atomic Fusion, Inc., an award-winning independent interactive marketing agency based in Atlanta, Georgia. As Internet entrepreneur, co-founder, vice president and strategy director his responsibilities included management of strategic planning and implementation of interactive projects, ranging from website development, web-based applications, user interface studies, interactive demonstrations, online games, email marketing, search engine optimization, and brand / identity creation to support these initatives. Keith directed marketing strategies on projects for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, CheckFree, Hard Rock Cafe, HSBC, Huntington, Equifax, National Park Service, TBS, SunTrust and Turner Classic Movies, to name a few.

Prior to starting Atomic Fusion Shawn Keith spent time working for such technology powerhouses as IBM and MCI - developing product and brand strategies as well as managing internal and external marketing communications programs.

At MCI, Keith played an integral part in the development of brand and communication strategies for the line of business-related products and services under the networkMCI brand, including the marketing communications roll out of MCI Local Service to more than a dozen major metro markets. During the merger of MCI and WorldCom, Keith managed the executive-level communications programs to ensure consistent C-level messaging with the company’s largest global accounts. At IBM, Keith was involved at the early stages of multimedia computing providing worldwide marketing support for the company’s line of software and hardware products.

His advertising experience was gained at JWT’s technology arm (previously known as Donino, White & Partners) where his account management experience was developed on national and international advertising accounts comprised of traditional print, television and promotional campaigns.
